Data & personal information

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Healthy Sleep & Vitality, based in Tallinn, Estonia, handles personal data collected through healthysleepvitality.info. It covers what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to reach us about your data.

Section 01

What we collect

When you use the contact form on this site, we receive the details you enter in it. In practice that means your name, your email address, and the message you write. Nothing more is asked of you in order to get in touch with the lab.

01 Contact form fields — the name, email address and message you type
02 Server logs — your IP address and browser type, recorded by our hosting provider
03 Nothing else — we do not ask for health records, identity documents or payment details through this site

Technical information such as your IP address and browser type may be recorded automatically by our hosting provider in standard server logs. Those logs help us understand whether the site is loading for visitors in Estonia and elsewhere, and they are not used to build a profile of you for marketing.

Why we collect it

Contact form data is used to answer your message and, where relevant, to arrange a consultation. Server logs are used to keep the site running and secure, and to investigate faults or abuse. We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not sell it to anybody.

Replies

We read what you send and answer it. If you asked about nutrition guidance, that reply may include next steps for a consultation.

Site integrity

Logs show us faults, misuse and spikes, so we can fix problems before they affect the people using the site.

Follow-up

If a conversation continues, we keep the thread so you do not have to repeat your situation every time.

Records

Where the law requires us to keep a record, we keep only that record, and only for as long as the law requires it.

Legal basis and cookies

Two different kinds of processing happen when you use this site: the processing we carry out because you decided to write to us, and the processing our hosting provider performs so that the site stays online. Each one rests on its own legal basis.

Legal basis

Your request to us

Where you contact us, processing is based on your request and on our legitimate interest in responding to it.

Statutory duties

Where data is stored to meet accounting or other statutory duties, processing is based on legal obligation.

Cookies

Which cookies this site may set

The site may set cookies needed for basic functionality and, where enabled, for anonymous traffic measurement. The Cookie Policy describes the categories used and how to control them in your browser.

Retention

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up consultation, after which they are removed on a periodic review. Server logs are retained for a limited period set by the hosting provider, then deleted or anonymised.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers such as our hosting and email suppliers, who act on our instructions. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards are used.

If you would like to know which suppliers are involved before you send a message, ask us first through the contact page — we can answer before any data changes hands.

What the annual does not do
  • No selling or renting of your data to third parties
  • No automated profiling or decision-making about you
  • No mailing list you did not ask for

Your rights

You can request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for correction or deletion, object to processing, or request restriction. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).

Access

Ask what data we hold about you, and receive a copy of it in a readable form.

Correction and deletion

Have an inaccuracy fixed, or ask for data to be deleted where we have no legal reason to keep it.

Objection and restriction

Say that you object to a form of processing, or ask us to limit it while a question is being looked at.

Complaint

Lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) if you are not satisfied with how we handled your request.
